The best holidays ever
The best holidays in my opinion are the ones I spend with my loved ones.
In 2015 I traveled with my dad to Bolivia, I was very excited because I traveled by plane for the first time, the trip was not very long. First we had to get to Iquique and it was a two-hour flight, then we got to La Paz on another plane.
The most exciting thing about my trip was that every day we visited a different and historic city. For example Lake Titicaca, Tiahuanaco, Copacabana, Oruro, etc.
I remember that when we were in Tiahuanaco, we visited the "Puerta del Sol", located in an archaeological site. My dad, who is an anthropologist, told me many things about that place but I was very impressed when her said that before that door was covered in gold, but with the arrival of the invaders, they stole all the gold. The interesting thing about the sun gate is that at a certain time of dawn the first rays of light are seen at an exact angle.
At night, we saw all the constellations and stars, I remember that it was a beautiful and unique moment, Tiahuanaco is a rural and historical town, therefore there was no light pollution, my trip to Bolivia was great and unforgettable.
How great to go to places that have a history with an anthropologist dad! congratulations, it must be an incredible memory :)
